KNOLL

BRAND IDENTITY
Posters: 11 x 17

Assigned to develop a new visual system for the furniture company Knoll’s Workplace Research Library and showroom. I was heavily inspired by their piece’s forms and their history. By creating a visual system based on collage, I was able to pay homage to the history of Knoll as well as displaying their inventive and modern designs.

NOT ENOUGH COOKS

BRAND IDENTITY
Book:  6 x 6”
Cards: 4 x 6”

Cooking is not something that comes naturally to all of us. With busy schedules, limited ingredients, and easy access to fast food, it can be hard to motivate yourself to cook. To combat this problem, I designed a company that encourages cooking simple meals for novice chefs. Photos and food styling done by myself.

END OF THE WORLD

BRAND IDENTITY
Poster: 11 x 17”

*CONTAINS FLASHING IMAGERY* As designers, we need to think about the future of design, so as a fun exercise I thought it would be worthwhile to explore the idea of “branding the end of the world.” The idea of the world ending is a source of anxiety for anyone, so I tried to capture those feelings with the project.

SOLANGE

BOOK DESIGN
Book: 4 x 7”

Solange Knowles is an immense influence on my design practice, so I decided to pay homage to her. Through her poetic work, she focuses on race, femininity, and artistry. I collected essays, poems, and various other works that relate to Solange’s multiple disciplines.

Visit the site. This collection was designed to catalog my constant movements and habits throughout the day.  Most of them include different household objects and fidgeting with them in various different ways. The aim was to catalog all of the actions of being anxious, as opposed the feeling.
